It's been 4 months since I've updated. I went into a small funk about the time I last posted so I kinda got out of the habit.
As I review my blog, I see lots has happened! Andrew has a job. He works at Marsh as a cashier downtown. Doing a good job balancing work and school - although he is dropping art class for another study hall. I know he enjoys getting a good paycheck too!
Michael is well - now working SnowCon instead of bugging. He still has his ups and downs - but I pray for more ups than downs.
I'm well, actually on vacation from December 23 - Jan 3. I've never had this time off before and I've rather enjoyed it! Not getting as much done as I would like, but I'm enjoying my time.
Mentally I'm doing alright. I had a horrible dream Christmas morning and I'm still dealing with that. Finding that I really don't want to go to bed - but hopefully it'll get better soon. I'm stitching once again and enjoying that. Making small gifts to give away - still working on different bookmarks. No, I haven't picked up my big project again - the wedding has come and gone - but I'm wanting to get to it .
We had a very nice Christmas. Kinda weird as Andrew grows older (uh, he's 17 now!) knowing that our time with him is limited here at home. Andrew and I have completely enjoyed being at Indian Creek. The sermons are amazing. I'm enjoying my Sunday School class - I wish that Andrew would try to get involved in the youth groups more.
Dad, Nikie & fam, and Joe & fam have gone to TN for the New Year. We would go, but Michael has to work Thursday (so we'd leave late that day) and has to work Saturday morning at 6 - so we'd have to leave Friday night to get back. But Nece is sending back some sauerkraut for me - so that is a BIG bonus!
This is kinda a hit and miss post, but it is mostly to get back in the groove. I've got pictures to upload and I'll get to that soon!
Working on my New Year's resolutions too! YUCK!
