Spring is in the air!!!

Boy do I have spring fever!!!

Today was beautiful!  It started crisp and cool with a beautiful sunrise and the birds were singing!  We hit 72.  Sunny and 72.  It was warm yet just cool enough.  I'm so glad I have big window's at my desk to enjoy it.  I love being able to open my windows and let the fresh air in at work.

We had Acapulco Joe's for dinner (and lunch tomorrow for all of us!) and Papa came over for a visit.  When Papa was leaving I grabbed the rake and started cleaning up the yard.  We had sticks and limbs that had come down over the winter so I collected those and stared a fire.  I had such a good time.  I've got day lilies coming up (BOY do I have the day lilies coming up!) and my lilac bush has buds.  I know it's early yet to be counting on spring being here for good...but I'm going to enjoy it while I can!  I want to get some sunflower seeds (Andrew's favorite) started  for planting soon and I'm really thinking about getting one of the tomato topsy turvy plants.  Wonder if they really work!

I'm so thankful tonight for the beautiful weather!  My soul is refreshed and peace is in my heart.
